Triple E Kennels BrinHello Ernest & Family ;
Just thought I would drop you a note to # 1. THANK YOU VERY MUCH for the outstanding puppy you sent to me and #2. give you an update on "BRIN" along with some photos. When she arrived at Calgary International Airport at 17:30hrs. there was quite a thunderstorm going on and they would not allow any workers on the tarmac because of lightening which resulted in the poor pup having to wait another 1hr.45min. until I could get to her (she had to go through Agriculture Canada and Canadian Customs before I was allowed to get her out of the crate). This along with the fact that she had already been in the crate in excess of 12hrs. caused me to have A LOT of stress over what effect this would have on my new pup. This was rapidly alleviated the moment I cracked the crate door and she blew out of there, jumped into my lap, climbed up my jacket and onto my shoulder wagging her tail and then immediately wanted to play. After a play outside and some more play she rode home the remaining 2hrs. on the console quite content. The only ill effect the trip had on her was a minor stress related intestinal infection (diarrhea) which we were prepared for (started her on a course of antibiotics) as we have encountered this before when importing pup's from the U.S. and Europe over the years. This was confirmed by our Vet the next day by a fecal sample and was rapidly cleared up, NOTE; this had absolutely NO Triple E KennelsEFFECT on her "GET UP AND GO ATTITUDE" !!!
Ernest I would at this time like to Thank you for being straight up, HONEST and transparent throughout our business dealings. I would also like to tell you that you sent me EXACTLY what I requested in a pup right down to the things I had listed in the "would be nice to have,but not necessary category, ie: color".  I requested a HARD FEMALE of POLICE SERVICE DOG QUALITY with HIGH DRIVE, STABLE TEMPERAMENT and GOOD WITH CHILDREN. Being a retired Police Officer, having over 30 years experience with dog's (both in training and breeding), supplied and trained both men and canines for Police Departments on both sides of the border as well as trained men and dogs for Federal Maximum Security Prisons across Canada I think I am qualified in saying " YOU SUPPLIED ME WITH EXACTLY WHAT I REQUESTED". I very much appreciated you going the extra mile for me in ensuring the right dog by having her assessed by qualified outside people.
I have had her a week now and she has not had a lot of down time ( by her own choosing / loves to work ) she has traveled close to 700 miles in the vehicle with me (already protective of the vehicle), is crate trained (which was not an easy feat understandably Triple E Kennelsafter her long stressful trip but now sleeps in it through the night beside my bed) and is about 95% house broke. She is very much hooked on and tuned into me and likes to lie under my chair at night. She has had lots of new experiences in a short time being exposed to horses, cows, cats etc..  The thing that most impresses me about this pup is her confidence with all of her new experiences I have yet to see anything that has made the hair come up on her back just her cocky little strut, deep bark and willingness to engage.  She has an INCREDIBLE BITE an excellent nose and retains things very well . BRIN is NOT food motivated (and that suits me just fine), she just plain likes to work.
I have attached some photo's the one of her with the puppy sleeve was taken about 5 minutes after we got her home and she found it. The others are her doing some article searches and scent discrimination work with car key's and an aluminum tactical flashlight (you can't see them but there are other toy's and articles in the search area). I think the photo's speak for themselves as to the quality of dog I received.
Thanks again ERNIE for the FINE DOG!!!!!
Ernie please feel free to give my phone number should anyone request a reference or to share any of our past e-mail correspondence.

Hey Ernie,
Just wanted to let you know how our puppy is doing.  We named him Jax.  The first couple days we could definitely tell he was wondering who we were, where we had taken him, and why we wanted him to get used to his crate.  He became comfortable with his crate after a few days and now rarely barks when we place him in there.  He even enters the crate when we tell him to on a few occasions.  As this is our first puppy, we have really enjoyed watching him grow in only the first 2 and a half weeks that we have had him.  He follows us everywhere and loves to chew, as they all do.  Three days after I picked him up, we had a snowstorm that accumulated 25 inches of snow, which is very out of the ordinary considering we live very close to the ocean.  The snow did not help us with the housebreaking, but we made it through ok.  We took him to the beach on New Years Day and he definitely seemed very interested in the new sights and sounds.  Just thought that you would like an update on how he is doing.  Now that he is in our lives we really cant imagine what it would be like if we did not have him.  Hopefully if he could talk he would say the same thing.  If you are interested I can send you some pictures that we have taken.  Hope that all is well on your end.

I just wanted to let you know that lightning is doing AWESOME….He is walking around our house like he has been here his whole life. He comes to us when we call him and is giving each one of us some time with him. The girls lay with him and he licks their face and he sits with me when I am in the kitchen. We have had him out in the yard for little walks and spent a good hour brushing him out. He loves my husband and my husband loves him..lol. He and Molly have been playing together and doing very very well. I will send some pictures of them later in the week I just wanted to let you know how happy we are with him so far and he is doing great. He likes to fall asleep while he is sitting up and he’ll start to fall over then will wake back up. He has quite the personality !! Thanks for everything and we will keep in touch.

Hi Ernie,

Just wanted to let you know we were home safely with our puppy.  We named him Diesel.  It was one of the first names we thought of and it just seemed to fit!  He is awesome.  We could not be happier!  He is all you said and more!  He is so sweet and wow, is he smart!  Not one accident in the car on the way home, and it took us 2 days (we made it home at 6:00 last night).  We only made it to Elkton, MD the first day due to weather and we actually drove until 5:30 that night!  The weather was really bad, and I don't think DE owns a plow!  We got home and had to plow ourselves out of about 2 1/2 foot of snow! Diesel is not to keen on the cold and snow yet, but neither are we.  We started crate training him last night.  He wasn't to happy about it, but he did pretty well. He sat in my lap the whole way home, so our bond is already pretty thick! He is my little shadow!  He doesn't let me out of his sight right now, its so sweet. We are having a lot of fun with him, he's so calm, but still a playful little puppy! ha! He is a perfect fit for our family, even our cat didn't mind him so much.  They were friends with in 20 minutes.  I will send some pictures of him at his new home so you have an idea of how he will spend his days!  Just wanted you to know that all is going great, Joe went back to work today, and I am trying to get us all back in to routine!  Thank you so much for all your  time and effort.  We enjoyed talking with you!  You did an amazing job with the pups!  We are elated, to so the least! We hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas!  Please fill free to write or call anytime, if you just want to know how he is progressing, or just how he is doing.  Like we said, we would love to keep in touch.  Take Care! We were also wondering hoe the empty-nester's are doing? ha!

Thanks Again,
Sonia
